General Motors Fleet

B2B CAMPAIGN

 

During my time at Leo Burnett the Fleet business was moved to McCann and fortunately I was asked by clients to move with it. First order of business, new campaign, new look and feel, and a refreshed video series.

 
 

01. IDEA

 

Every fleet has unique needs and GM provides more than just vehicles. 

We're in the solutions business.

Fleet mangers are concerned with efficiency, productivity, connectivity, safety, driver satisfaction, total cost of ownership, vehicle functionality, quality, reliability, and dependability.

We found that fleet managers actually talk to each other quite a bit. You would think the people at Coke and Pepsi would have some sort of beef but it's actually quite the opposite. They all communicate what's working or not working for them and trust each other which led us to a testimonial approach. Testimonials are difficult by nature because you're dealing with real people and you never know what your going to get. So we enlisted the help of John Weisbarth (host of Tiny House) to help navigate the storyline and ease the nerves of being in front of the camera. Enjoy.

Over the course of three grueling months, we shot about thirty vehicles at three different angles so we could position and arrange them together in post for various asset needs.

Stories from the Road was the previous version of the video series I shot at my former agency. It's helpful to see how we evolved the series with the addition of the host and some simple graphics.
